Mark Burger

Principal

As cofounder and managing member of PDP, Mr. Burger directs the investment and development activities of the firm. He and Mr. Recht manage all aspects of the Company’s activities including identifying opportunities; determining strategies for the company, and its properties and developments; coordinating and implementing projects; and managing its lending and investor relationships. Mr. Burger graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Political Science in 1980. He is a licensed real estate agent in the state of California.

Ron Recht

Principal

Mr. Recht has more than 43 years of real estate experience, and shares responsibility with his partner Mr. Burger for PDP’s business development, strategies, operations and decision making. He is also responsible for PDP’s and several of its affiliates’ day-to-day operations including asset, property and construction management oversight. Mr. Recht graduated from California State University Northridge with a B.A. in Radio, Television and Film in 1975. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.

Lars Andersen

Vice President, Construction Services

Mr. Andersen has more than 39 years of experience in construction and development, and commercial property management. He joined PDP in 1993, and handles diverse responsibilities as project manager, construction manager and owners’ representative for multiple projects. Mr. Andersen is responsible for managing design and construction activities for new developments, existing portfolio assets and acquired properties. Mr. Andersen graduated from California Polytechnic State University Pomona in 1978 with a B.A. in Communication Arts.

Oscar Flores

Director, Multifamily

Mr. Flores joined PDP in 2012 to run the multifamily division and is responsible for acquisitions of existing apartment communities and land sites for multifamily development. Mr. Flores works closely with Mr. Recht and Mr. Burger to identify opportunities in the Western United States and implement repositioning strategies. Prior to joining PDP, Mr. Flores spent almost ten years as a multifamily Investment broker. Most recently he worked for Colliers International, where he was involved in both investment sales and capital markets with a focus on detailed financial analysis. He began his real estate career at Burnham Real Estate, which was later acquired by Cushman & Wakefield. Mr. Flores graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with B.A. in Management and Organizational Communications in 2003. He is a licensed real estate agent in the state of California.

Jay Boris

Director, Finance & Asset Management

Mr. Boris joined PDP in 2013 to work closely with the principals in all aspects of the business, assist in structuring and overseeing its capital markets activities in particular, and helping to coordinate with new investors. Mr. Boris has over 26 years of experience in real estate investment banking and finance, and has structured and closed transactions across all major asset classes and types of real estate capital. Nearly 17 years of his career was spent with Johnson Capital Group where he was an Executive Director and member of the company’s investment banking practice, advising clients on a broad range of real estate capital transactions. Mr. Boris began his career in mortgage banking with The Alison Company in Los Angeles. Mr. Boris received his B.A. in Political Economies of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993. He is a licensed real estate agent in the state of California.

Sandy Hull

Development Partner

Mr. Hull has been affiliated with PDP since 2001, and serves as a development partner specializing in acquisition, disposition, marketing, portfolio management and real estate consulting. Mr. Hull has a 35 year history of successful transactional and strategic real estate management. His broad commercial, retail, and residential real estate portfolio experience provides valuable insight to draw upon in developing long term and strategic business plans as well as day to day management activities. Mr. Hull graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Business in 1979. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California, has a designation of masters in corporate real estate, and is a member of several professional real estate organizations.
